What is define as marriage? Based on definition Dictionary Oxford marriage is the legally or formally recognized union of two people as partners in a personal relationship. But, some people prefer to marry when they are young while others prefer to wait until they are older to marry. In our focuses, young people at the age below 25 years old are considered as early married. There is one of an organisation that supports early marriage which is UNFPA - United Nations Population Fund but it helps children to marry that in the certain condition and certain country such as Pakistan because of the rate poverty increasing every day. UNFPA help people or children that poor that cannot support their family. UNFPA help to reduce the burden by marrying …show more content…
Mostly, people who marry early is not ready psychologically and morally. Paul (2013, p.75) notes that girls are not be prepared on how to handle a family life. Some girls do not know how to manage and take care of their family. Some do not even know how to cook and do the house job. This is due to lack of marriage managed-skills and if it continues for too long, it will lead to marriage problems. If the problems in marriage life are not be prevented, it can be more worst due to misunderstanding and lack of compromising abilities in either of the partners. This will give a serious impact on their psychological welfare and their relationship. In addition, Paul(2013) states that early marriage can due to the psychological problem. They will have a difficulty in having interaction with a social environment since early marriage will lead especially for girls to have less of freedom and a feeling of isolation as well as an unhappy marriage. Kay & Kay (2015) says that ‘marry young have a higher chance of divorce, and it is likely due to the pressures of instability, strained finances, and the responsibilities of child-rearing’. We totally agree that early marriage will give impact on the psychological and social life of young people. Nowadays, we have a lot of technologies that contribute to the learning process. It means that education has become very important part in our life. If they do not have higher education, they could not make a good career and get a prestige job for better life to support their family. There is no marriage that does not have problems. If they get married early, they will have to think a solution for their problems than unmarried people at their age who only thinking about their future studies. It can be a burden for them to think solution for the problems instead of focus on study. Some studies shown that high school girls who married dropout schools in order to focus on their family. There is also some situation when girls have to prolong their studies due to pregnancy. As a result, men have to take a responsibility as a family leader to take care of their partner instead of focus on their study at their age that are supposedly dedicated themselves on study. Some married couple are still in their study life and not have stable economic. Many of them are still depends on parent for their education fees due to lack of finance. However, there are also married couples who do not want to rely on their parent’s money, by finding other ways by doing a part time work during studies. When they have to allocate time on working, they will have less time to study and it will give impact on their result
