In the early 1900’s, year-round schools were invented and have been used since then. Year-round schools have grown since then in the U.S.A and in other countries. Since year-round schools have been around, students have been improving academically. People argue that it improves academic learning, but others people argue that it does not improve academic learning. In year-round schools, the schools are more frequently used with a year-round schedule (Pearson). The year-round schedule has the same amount of days as a 180 day schedule (“The Pros and Cons of Year-Round Schools”).
