Many are concerned that using stem cells can destroy the value of life. The source for embryonic cells is the embryo and to able to obtain these cells it is very invasive and could be damaging to egg cells. The question of should a developing egg cell have the same status of a baby and when does human life begin come into debate. In spite of stem cells being used for lifesaving research it is morally wrong to inflict any damage to the embryo of developing eggs or eggs that can develop in the future.
