The bombs today if we would drop them would have a lot more devastating effects than the bombs that were dropped on Japan. We have grown in productivity of new types of electronics and other things in the economy so our scientist’s brains could easily make a bomb that has effects that are a lot worse than years past. Lots of people in the United States think that the dropping of the bombs on Japan were not necessary. Japan was not our primary threat at the time. Most people believe that we had killed thousands upon thousands of innocent people. Japan was already at the downfall of their country. They would have soon surrendered and none of this would have had to happen. It is said that we only had to drop one bomb. The Japanese were going to surrender after the first, but we had no time to get the response from them. But although this was a hard and cruel thing to do the United States needed to do it so that there might raise up fear in their other enemy's
