The Industrial Revolution can be seen as both a blessing and a grim curse. It may seem that humanity, especially in industrialized countries, has become more wretched and has become a world of filth, dirt, and horrible living conditions as seen in the slums of society. However, progress is defined by comfortability, and by looking at the whole picture of the Industrial Revolution, it was a leap forward in the ascent of man.
The Industrial Revolution can be seen as one of the greatest events in history. It induced a whole new way of thought; romanticism was being left behind in exchange for classicism, science and logical thought.
