Human papillomavirus, also known as HPV, is the cause of many cases of cervical and genital cancer in both men and women. Although this is a known fact, many parents are still neglecting the idea of giving their children a “sex vaccine.” This controversy not only defies the teachings of religion, but it also defies the beliefs of parenthood. They don’t feel like this is something that they should be giving their 9-13 year old children.
