The followers of the Green Perspective, the Greens, believe that human activities such as industrial activity, motor vehicle emissions, deforestation etc have led to environmental degradation causing issues like damaging the biosphere, lack of food to feed the ever-increasing population and extinction of a large number of wildlife species. In order to deal with these problems the Greens suggest that the number of harmful activities that are carried out by humans need to reduced. This can be done by introducing environment protection policies that not only protect the environment from permanent damage at the hands of the human race but also safeguards the welfare of the poorer sections of the population.
