None denies that all humans have basic rights however once they begin to break established laws punishment is due. All punishments take away rights. While you are in jail you lose many rights such as freedom of speech. The punishment and relinquishment of freedom depend on the severity of the crime. Death row imamates are fearful of the death penalty just like imamates who have life in prison because they too lose rights however they should not be treated as victims because they relinquished their rights the moment they committed a capital crime. It is arguably worse to be sentenced to life in prison as that person is locked up from society for the remaindered of their life knowing that they will die in that prison cell. The death penalty eases the cruelty as it ends their life without the idea that they will rot in prison.
