In the world of healthcare there are many different bills that get passed, some for the better of the people and then some are in place to not help the people at all. With the different health care bills that we have they have to go through congress to get passed so that at the end of the day the bills will be beneficial to everyone. We as healthcare providers should know these different healthcare bills and understand them to the fullest being that they affect us on a daily basis. This act helps those who are under low income and need assistance with their health insurance. The ACA also helps with young children and teenagers as well. It increases access to health services for both young children and for the theenagers by giving the expansion of private and public options. The Affordable Care Act tries to keep in my of the children who are in and out of foster care and those who just simply cannot afford health insurance. With this act people all over the United States are able to get the healthcare that they need in order for them to continue on with their daily lives. The ACA also encourages employers to undertake workplace wellness activities that promote and incentivize actual health outcomes (Rosenbaum, 2011). At times this would be overwhelming for the Allied Health Professionals due to the fact that there will be so many people wanting to be seen. The patients won’t have to worry about copays and trying to figure out how they will be able to afford everything. There’s always the worry of whether or not the Affordable Care Act affects the healthcare providers in this field. To be honest it does and it will always affect them no matter what. Now that we have the Affordable Care Act the healthcare providers will have more training which will be covered by the government (Murphy, 2014).
