Stop and frisk practices should be discontinued immediately due to several reasons. One main reason is that it raises issues on whether or not law enforcement personals are genuinely aiming to decrease crime or racially profiling individuals due to their background culture i.e. African Americans or Latinos. According to the New York Civil Liberties’ Union when evaluating the Police Departments stop-and-frisk reports, it had been concluded that majority of New York citizens that had been stopped by law personals were mostly African American and Latino males. Many controversial have been said that stop-and-frisk help to reduce crime but others would disagree that young males of color are being wrongfully targeted. In my opinion, I believe that
