1. Grave allergic reactions because of Sulfites, found in wine and dried fruits.
2. Benzoic acid and sodium benzoate are usually used in fruit juices and carbonated drinks. These substances can cause hives and other allergic reactions.
3. Butylated hydroxytoluene and Butylated hydroxyanisole that are utilized to preserve packaged goods such as cereal, gum and potato chips can also cause allergic reactions. Who have asthma will have allergic reactions with certain foods.
Cancer is one of the deadly diseases these days. CSPI (Center for Science in the Public Interest) states that adding food preservatives to meat can cause the cancer forming chemicals in the body.
These food additives can be harmful for the children. Mostly headaches and migraines in children are causes because of the consumption of these additives in the food.
Conclusion: Using nitrites as food additives, it has its pros and cons. The best way to overcome its cons to put the strict limit on the consumption foods that has food preservatives. So that we can maintain the nutrition’s levels in our body. Or before picking any food with preservatives make sure to check the labels. There is always has a choice of eating the fresh healthy food by switching to organic or can anybody start doing a little garden for
