Working hard would just consist of one blindly working towards a single-minded aim, while working smart would entail that one strategizes and effectively reach their desired destination. For example, working in the office can be a menial task, but instead of merely tapping away at the keyboard, strategically settling simultaneous things at once and thinking of new solutions like for example an automated script would make work much easier and quicker, completing more work than a mere hard worker. It also helps save resources, time and effort, creating more output for much lesser input. With this, it is evident that smart work is more effective and efficient in reaching a goal than pure hard
