The Pros And Cons Of Rethinking Of The Titanic

There were many probabilities to why it sunk. They called the Titanic the unsinkable ship because it was designed to stay afloat with 4 watertight compartments breached. Before the departure of the ship the White Star line and the owners of the ship announced that the ship was unsinkable and from there that is where everyone started to think that it was the unsinkable. Many people started buying tickets because they wanted to be the first to board the enormous ship that would cross the Atlantic Ocean. So they built the ship as fast as they could and they didn't care if it was safe or not. So on that day they had 2,207 people that were going to board the Titanic. The Captain for the Titanic for that day ignored all of the 7 iceberg warnings

Although there were many different factors that played a role into the sinking of the Titanic, the weather played a huge role into it. It was clear with no moon, and the sea was completely calm, making it hard to tell if any danger was ahead (Cummins). After the Titanic had hit the iceberg, only one ship answered its distress signals; the Carpathia, but it unfortunately came when too many people had died and the crew members on the ship were only able to rescue 700 survivors (“Titanic Sinking”). There wasn’t enough lifeboats on the ship because the company that the Titanic came from; the White Star Line did not want to clutter the deck of the first class (Schama).…
