Altruistic Democracy looks at leadership and the influence that people perceived to be leaders or famous public officials and how they influence others. In these articles, President Donald Trump and his opinions on immigration are mentioned more than anyone else, in addition to his name in the headline. President Trump is a famous leader, a person that many are interested in and a name that will sell, therefore used in the news. If a lesser name had been used in the headlines, many would not have recognized it or been as inclined to read on and see what it was about. Responsible Capitalism suggests that there is an optimistic faith toward society and that people will only compete with each other for the good of all and refrain from anything that will exploit others. In the immigration policies, not all public officials are being honest or efficient with their plans. Dreamers and DACA will not benefit from the proposed Republican plan, but those who wish to build a wall and increase border security to keep immigrants out will benefit. This article was much more anti-Trump. The article starts out saying that President Trump called lawmakers to oppose bipartisan approaches to immigration and find a solution to dreamers, suggesting that he only would agree with his own plan, putting the Senate into deadlock. Throughout the article, there is negative emphasis on statements President Donald Trump has made about the issue, appeals to make the reader want to support the dreamers rather than President Trump’s four pillars of his plan and a suggestion that this plan has become a fight between Republicans and Democrats rather than what is best for the American public to come together and
