With very controversial presidential candidate elections underway, a main concern on voter’s minds are taxes and the different ways taxes can be lowered or raised in the United States. Each candidate’s opinion on US taxations have sparked strong debates as the federal government took in a total of $3.035 trillion in revenue during the 2014 fiscal year, and $3.248 trillion in fiscal 2015 thus having a 6.55 percent increase. Although the United States increased their tax plan they also overextended their spending budget as they spent over $3.687 trillion creating a deficit of $438 billion (Jeffery, Terence P.). Hillary Clinton’s resume for POTUS, is greatly better than Trumps’, since Clinton has served as a Senator for 8 years, Secretary of the State for 4 years and over a decade in public services. Some might say that Donald Trump could be a better candidate as he is very experienced in business which could be very helpful in running the economy, whereas Bernie Sanders is not. However, Donald Trump has filed for bankruptcy four times, therefore it would be risky to count on him not to damage the economy. Sanders would likely be able to avoid mistakes like this with the advice of other people such as his cabinet. Some might also argue that Ted Cruz would make a better president as some of his issues includes securing borders and changing the immigration policy. However, this would cause problems with many families as they might be separated.…
