Some people would argue that the government should no longer fund Planned Parenthood, which in turn would force the clinic to close. These same people fail to realize that taking away the facility, would take away health care services, and information from about 2.7 million men and women a year in the United States. Having a permanent health care provider is not an option for many; therefore, Planned Parenthood facilities are used as such. (Find cited info) The clinics provide exceptionally affordable health care to those who do not have insurance, thus preventing negligence against ones health.
