How would you feel as a parent if your children were convinced to join the military through deception? This is what is happening throughout the United States where representatives from the armed forces come to talk to students about joining the armed forces. While this can be a positive thing, many parents including peace groups are against this because of the pure pressure it puts on the students among other things. In order to keep students from making a decision that they don’t truly believe in as a result of the trickery recruiters make, the United States should issue a law to keep military recruiters out of high schools.
