Seniors have several different plans to choose from each with different parts. The first plan is to get hospital and medical coverage (parts A and B) as well as prescription drug coverage (part C). The second plan has the same plan as the first but insurance comes through a private company. The final plan uses parts A, B, and D as well as medigap, which provides a variety of private medicare plans.
The Affordable Care Act is not affordable to the lower class, and can harm the middle and upper class over time The ones that can afford it pay more than the ones that can not. The people that can afford insurance are paying for themselves and the ones that are not paying for insurance. Because of Obamacare some people get the minimum insurance because it costs less and they have to depend on hospitals to take care of unpaid hospital bills.
Obamacare is a mandate, meaning you have to have it. Whether it remains a federal mandate or something left up to the state governments to handle, it will continue to be a controversial issue.
