According to Marijuana and Cancer by The American Cancer Society, the two main chemicals that are found in marijuana that help with cancer treatments are THC and CBD. THC could prove helpful as it is known to relieve side effects that one might receive from chemotherapy including pain and nausea. THC has actually been seen to give back cancer patients appetites after not being able to keep food down for days. In some cases these two chemicals could even kill cancer cells or stunt their growth (American Cancer Society). There is no question that marijuana has many different medicinal healing properties and that if legalized, it could help cure many people of their
