If you live in the United States you are most likely aware that the state of Colorado has legalized growing, selling and consuming Marijuana. But what you might not know is that the marijuana industry has been blocked out of the banking industry. The reason these banks will not take the marijuana industry’s money is because it is still federally illegal to do anything with marijuana and the banks fear being raided or shut down by the DEA or Drug Enforcement Agency due taking “drug money”. This had lead to many problems in the industry from making it very hard to start new shops to being squeezed out of the market by people with bigger bankrolls. With the banks behind them they will be able to expand have a lot less worry about how they pay employees. They will also be able to open new shops with the money the receive from loans they will be able to remodel there stores and make there self more appealing to the customer. They could very possibly be able to be on the four front of the ever-growing industry when other states legalize. Our local business owners will be able to expand to other states and open shop long before anybody else can hope to compete who know we might even see the Sam Walton of the marijuana industry come from right here in Denver if only we could stop the government interferences and have the banks open there arms to a very profitable
