What do you think from harm makes you a better person.That is an understandable concern however, that is an understandable concern but, lying is not always a bad thing to do.

In our society I firmly believe that lying is acceptable. I believe that lying is justified when it can be used to protect and care for others.Lying is allowable because, it is up to each individual to chose what to believe.It talks about lying or not and it is backed up by experts.about lying should we do it or not? For example, if your friend gets in a fight and the teacher asks you who it was what would you say will you lie or tell the truth. I firmly believe that lying is acceptable in our society.

Lying is justified when it can be used to protect and care for others. For example, Randy Cohen ,ethics columnist, says “Your fictional spouse is about to accept a nobel prize .She asks if she looks fat your response is you look fabulous.”(pg. 2) This connects to my argument because you can go the rest of the day more smoothly. What i mean by this is that lying is not always a bad thing to do.In addition, St. Augustine says “On rare occasions , lying to protect others can be a matter of life or death.” For example, Anne FRank survived as long as she did because those sheltering her and her family lied to the Nazis.
