There are three hundred million people living in the United States. However, not all of them are deemed to be American. Being an American is more than where you live, it is how you act, how you take care of your surroundings, and how you treat others around you. Being an American is not just being born in the United States, it is more of showing that you are grateful to be here, whether it is as small as taking your hat off during the national anthem or as big as fighting for the country.
