Language is one of the most important component of civilization. The human race had evolved with time and so had language. Divided into different countries, races and ethnicity humans have innumerable languages all over the world and these languages are further divided into dialects. However, the English language has managed to make itself a global language. People from all over the world communicate through this language. When time evolves so does the language and it cannot be denied that this has brought along pros and cons of its own. Usually a child learns his mother tongue before any other language therefore an average person will know at least one language. For countries such as Malaysia where our community has diverse people such as Malays, Indians, Chinese and Punjabis, we know not only our respective mother tongue, the national language but also English and there are some Malaysians who had gone to an extent to know each others mother tongue. When we go travelling to another country it is shown that we are Malaysians through our language use. Even a psychiatrist depends on his patients language use to know more about them and their origins. When we grow up in a particular area, we tend to pick up the slangs and accents of those places. We often recognize different foreigners from their accents. It is not necessary that a person with a British accent is born in England, yet this shows that this person picked up the language from England and he might had spent some time in the country probably for educational purposes. These kind of things can be made up from a person's language. In India there are 22 official languages alongside many more unofficial languages which differ by slangs. These different slangs show the origin of the people in India itself. People are easily
