It is important to mention that diversity is not being encouraged in many countries; in fact, some cultures would rather have contact only within that family or race, or even the same religion. We can’t forget the fact that someday we will go out into the real world, and we will experience and encounter situations that involve different people coming from different parts that have totally different cultures, traditions and beliefs. In today’s global society, the work place has every gender, ethnicity and religion. Learning about other countries and their cultures is crucial in life and in enhancing education. We learn from people who have different experiences, beliefs and perspectives. Diversity improves the educational field. Human beings should be knowledgeable in many fields, not only one; because it is through day-by-day experience that we learn and improve. As our worldwide world turns out to be more interconnected on account of the advancement in technology, travel and immigration, having knowledge about distinctive societies is an asset.
