However, ideologies do not come without opposition. Napoleon Bonaparte condemned ideologies and Karl Marx described ideologies as a deception; ideas and ideals that people believe are only products created to fortify the ruling class in their current social structure.
I do agree that ideologies can provide valuable functions and act as a tool to better comprehend theoretical and actual practices of structures within a society. Although, I am unable to agree with the stringent views of the Ideologue and believe that they fall blind to their philosophies.
Ideologies provide people with necessary abilities to interpret and from purpose in the complicated world around them. An ideology lends an explanation as to why the societal, economic, and political circumstances act as they do and why predicaments occur within these areas. While provided with an explanation as to why social conditions are what they are, ideologies also provide a premise as to evaluate the situation.
