Millions of products are being rubbed, inserted, and put all over your body. The animals are in an unknown location, scared, and are in pain. There is nothing you can do. That is what is happening today, with millions of animals, all different types of species. There animals are trapped in cold, barren cages without any love, positive attention, or physical exercise to keep healthy. You never see the world outside of the experimenting laboratory. Animals are very intelligent, but in this case, are unaware of what is going on and what is happening to them. Experimental testing is painful. “In fact, animals sense of smell, sight, and sound is much more acute than our own. Therefore, we can assume that their sensitivity to pain is at least equal to the human beings. Animals are living things. They have lungs which breathe, hearts which beat, and blood that flows.” (Klazema). If we are sensitive to shots, who says they are not? These products are still being developed and if the product happens to be dangerous, the animals will be the first to tell. They are put through all the pain of the failed experiments. The intentions of animal testing is not to harm the animals, but that is exactly what it does

After studying multiple views on animal testing I have come to realize my personal view has now changed since the start of my research. Before undergoing heavy study into animal testing I believed that all types of animal testing should be stopped, but now I believe that the idea is very beneficial and should only be done when the rights of the animal are considered. In the coming years, hopefully, more regulations can be passed to ensure that all animal’s lives are protected during experimentation. Although most animals are treated with care and no pain is dealt to them when undergoing testing, it would be a lie if I stated no animals are harmed during the process. Animal testing is extremely useful in developing life-saving drugs and medicine.…
