1. The work is hard and some students may experience their first low grades.
Most students have done well in high school. Some high school courses are not as demanding as college. A student has to learn a particular professor’s expectations and style of grading.
When you go to university, you have to face with some study problems. Study in a university is completely different from study in High school. It is a hard-work, therefore, some students may experience their first low grades. In High school, your teacher will read the lesson text and you have to write down on the paper. In university, however you just listen to what professors talk about and you have to keep it in your mind immediately. Most students have done well in High School. But some high school courses are not as demanding as college. Having some subjects makes you difficult to think, such as: Marxist-leninist philosophy, Ho Chi Minh thought, logic…The figures in mathematics in the university are also more complicated. You have to learn a particular professor’s expectations and style of grading. The professors have many different expectations and the ways they grade. For example, you study literature, Maths. Geography,…from 7.00 to 11.30 in the morning, and in the afternoon, you study English. However, in university, your study time depends on subject and credits which you registered. The timetable will not be fixed. You can study from 7 am to 8.30 am or you study even in the night depending on each college. So you need to manage logically your time.
