Handwriting has always been there and it is a good method of writing to take notes and summarize his or her own ideas to understand them better. Still, as the MIT Technology Review stated, classes are using computers more as some other schools are even requiring a computer or tablet. Handwriting does have some benefits like triggering cognitive processing and right now it is very hard to tell everyone to start typing because if they haven’t typed before it would be hard.
