In my opinion, I think we need less gun control. I believe this because as written in the Second Amendment, “The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed,” is a right. Citizens should have the right to protect themselves from everyone. Another point is that restricting gun laws put innocent citizens at a disadvantage because no matter what there are ways around the system, meaning criminals would still find ways to access firearms putting other people at risk if they are unable protect themselves. Guns do not kill people, people kill people and in order to decrease the crime rate involving guns, changes need to occur within society.
