Guns control have become a major issue over the years as laws seems to be less severe, and safety for it has been overlooked. People seem to hold on to this believe that they need their guns for safety, though these people who have guns usually don't even get to use them on any major threat. Not to say violence doesn’t occur but most that do end in fatality because guns are involved. I guess there is always a sense of security if you have a gun by your side, but at what cost, when do people start to realize that having a gun increases your chances of potential death or injury. For example I never had a pool before but now I decide to get one built in the back of my house, I couldn't drown in a pool before, but now my chances of drowning have

And most likely first incident could be one of someone innocent or one that could end a great number of lives. But one thing I noticed is nobody ever questions the individual the more focus is the gun itself, it's an inanimate object it won't act on its own unless controlled by man. The fact remains that guns don't kill people, people do. Giving a scenario where there are no such thing as guns, and the only weapon people use are knives as a primary weapon for defense and offense, although not as effective as guns but people will still have problems with you carrying it around, but there wouldn't be a knife control law, it isn't the most effective weapon. The main factor about guns is that they are a very effective tool, one man can walk into a room full of adults and can at least shoot majority of them before he is apprehended. But the opposite would be said about knives. I think the American people should focus more on educating people on the value of life. And also focus on coming together as a
