Recently I was talking to my friend about my topic for this paper. She asked me, “Why should we be worried about the Glaciers melting, we live nowhere near them?”. The rapid retreating of the glaciers all around the world is a problem that humans have created, this problem is irreversible, all we can do not is try to stop it from going more downhill. I chose this because I believe human beings need to be aware of this issue, they need to be aware and they need to be able to understand all that can happen if this issue isn’t solved. Now before I took this class, or more specifically before I watched the film Chasing Ice, if I’m being completely honest I really would not have cared about this issue.
