Since the invention of the first gasoline car in 1893, gasoline cars have always been one of the biggest downfalls for the earth’s ecosystem. The fumes that gasoline cars give off are so dangerous that the people of Japan have to wear masks to protect themselves from the dangerous chemicals that are in the air. However, with the introduction of electric cars there may be hope for our ecosystem after all. This essay is to address all of the misinformed car buyers that may not know a lot about electric cars or just don’t consider buying them when it comes to making such a financial decision. The first obvious reason why you should seriously consider buying an electric powered car is because they’re eco-friendly. Electric cars have not tailpipe emissions such as nitrogen or carbon dioxide. On average, carbon dioxide output for an electric car is only 54 pounds every 100 miles compared to the conventional car that gives off 87 pounds per 100 miles.
