Genetically modified food is defined as organisms in which the genetic material has been altered in a way that does not occur naturally by mating and/or natural recombination. Foods produced from or using GM organisms are often referred to as GM foods. This issue relates to agriculture due to the fact that agriculture isn’t only for growing crops and livestock. Agriculture also relates to growing healthy and well nourished people. Part of people growing healthy and well nourished includes what they in take in their body. The arguments between G.M.O. being beneficial or plain stupid. A major pro as people say between G.M.O. is whether it is beneficial in a way that can save many, many years of research. A con of G.M.O. is sometimes the crops and plants may not absorb the amount of chemicals given so the farmers actually use more without the safe knowledge of knowing how it will affect the plant now nor later on.
