Some jobs, such as that of the typical garbage man, have much greater risk of death due to accidents, than others, such as that of the tennis player. Very few jobs are completely safe at all times. In The National Football League, the football players often put themselves at unnecessary risks and sometimes this results in injuries such as concussions, broken bones, and torn muscles (www.foxsports.com/). Although most of NFL players injuries consist of minor cuts, abrasions, and bruises and therefore are not serious, they do not need to put themselves at risk for mere entertainment. The lack of education required for football players, when you compare it to a college student, is an insult to every person that does not play in the NFL. It is also important to realize the risks that people take in many jobs, surpass those that NFL players take. Finally, sports are entertainment. It does not feed people or help them get a better education.
