On this present day, can you think of anyone who hasn’t heard of Facebook? Take a minute and try to think of all the different social media sites that exist and that you hear people talk about daily. Chances are you have about 4-8 distinct things floating around in your mind. According to Small Business Trends of America, the top ten social media sites as of July 26, 2015 are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google +, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Flickr, and Reddit. Although some of these may not sound as familiar to you as the others, there definitely are many more in the social bubble. Being the power-holder of Twitter you must get tons of credit, but also lots of nasty and bitter feedback. Twitter has become so famous and is used for much more than just sharing life events. Between politics, sports, advertisements, and cyberbullying, Twitter has absolutely stepped up their game. The company itself has over 35 offices around the world and 3,900 employees. They additionally have 320 million active monthly users and of those 80% of the users going are mobile. With access to Twitter so easily at societies fingertips, why would there not be bullying and online fights? Some people can really get worked up just over a dumb little tweet that they may have just even taken wrong in the first place. Every time I get onto my Twitter there is always some type of fight going on in my news feed whether it’s between friends, associates, or celebrities it’s just ridiculous. I don’t understand why people want everyone to see their business and who their mad at/fighting with that day. It’s really surprising how politics have been super involved in Twitter also lately. I see lots of brawls involving the public with Trump, Cruz, and Clinton lately. In general, be nice on Twitter and spread some love
