From old friends, long distance relatives, to simply asking your neighbor if they could hold onto your mail while you’re out of town; social media is the adhesive that keeps some of us interacting with those we’re normally unable to. However, this adhesive is just that, it simply cannot replace face to face interactions in our lives. Interacting with one another has turned into sending a message that’s less than 180 characters, and a reduction of one another 's physical presence. According to Greene’s article, Emile Durkheim had conducted a study into the reasons of suicide, and one of those is separation from one’s family. Additionally, another issue is that if we do not agree to this policy we’re no longer able to use this platform which in a sense will separate us from the mass with an estimated 1 billion users around the globe, and over a quarter of that frequenting the site daily.
Social networking does its job well, however, the negative aspects of them can be viewed just as easily as its positives. With some moderation, and taking time out of our days
