This is my opinion and I am probably real wrong, but like I said, I still can’t tell what the word Redux means but I am willing to keep studying until I do. Chapter 9 talks about Evolution Redux, and The Best Within. And on page 224 it asked: Why does the public care so passionately about a theory of biology? Because people since inductively that there’s much more at state than a scientific theory. They know that when naturalistic evolution is taught in the science classroom, then a naturalistic view of ethics will be taught down the hallway in the history classroom, the sociology classroom, the family life classroom, and all areas of the curriculum. Nancy Pearcey an American Philosopher called this a common fear. I do agree with our text when it talks about The Best Within, a common belief about evolution is that if we recognize that we are only evolved animals there will be nothing to prevent us from acting like beast. I think I would have better enjoyed this class if we had the time to stay on each chapter for about a month In order to really know what these chapters are talking about. My family especially my husband has also learned through my discussing our weekly discussion questions with them because they have been so very, very, very interesting to all of us. But they are asking me not to talk about evolution all day. Why evolution is true? I don’t believe we can yet answer that. We are still, and will be trying to figure that out for a long time, but for me God is Alpha and Omega the creator of all living
