When Edward Snowden blew the whistle on how the national security agency recorded phone records many congressmen declared Snowden a traitor who has damaged the United States security. What Snowden did has many repercussions for the american people, but many people still focus too much on him. Many claim he is now a traitor because he revealed very important intelligence systems that could put America in danger. But other’s claim that he has done a very good thing revealing what the NSA has done. Many think that what Snowden leaked to the public has hurt the United States. Snowden still claims to know things that could hurt the American government but the most important thing he knew he has seemed to have leaked already (). Even if Snowden still has that information why is the government hunting him the chances of the American government getting him out of Russia without him wanting to is very low. The American people and government should be focused on what we should do now that we know what the NSA is doing. Snowden has done everything to avoide being captured or hacked by the U.S.. Snowden has avoided being tracked because he know the tricks of the NSA. He does knows that he can not keep away from them forever, eventually he will make a mistake. He is not staying away because he fears prison time or anything of that sort either, he stays away because he does not want to go to jail for the wrong reason. “I told the govermnent I’d volunteer for prison, as long as it servered the right purpose,” he says. Snowden has not given up on America he wants to return and he will try to return if it is for the best of all not just him
