The pros of drinking water from the tap are that it is a lot cheaper and always regulated. The cons of drinking water from the tap is that it has a higher chance of having lead in it. The pros of drinking bottled water are that it has a significantly less chance of having lead and is always being checked by the FDA. The cons of drinking bottled water are that it cost significantly more to buy bottled water and it the bottles affect the environment a lot. The reason the bottles affect the environment is because people litter all the time and most people don’t recycle their bottles. After reading these articles I would still rather drink bottled water but it has changed my view on tap water. I say this because I found out while reading that tap
