Two of the experts that they are bringing in to talk to the team are Alexis Jones and Kathy Redmond Brown. Alexis Jones has built a program called ProtectHer (Auerbach). She has met with many big schools to talk to them about her program and domestic violence in general (Auerbach). Kathy Redmond Brown is the founder of the National Coalition Against Violent Athletes, who has met with many schools also to talk about her foundation (Auerbach). Kathy’s main point that she tries to state with her foundation is that no exceptions should be made for any players and even star players (Auerbach). Both women have agreed that “Cultures only change when leadership makes it a priority” (Auerbach). Which is why the coaches have stepped up how they educate their players about domestic violence and some have changed how often they talk to them about it. Some coaches educate their players by police officers, freshman orientation, upperclassmen leadership training programs while others do it themselves (Auerbach). Virginia coach Mike London is an ex-police officer. He uses his experiences that he had as a cop to educate his team and try to show them right from wrong (Auerbach). The Georgia coaches try to use them as examples of how they should treat a lady (Auerbach). Colorado State coach Mike Bobo tries to talk to the players about what being a man actually means and negative headlines that do not want (Auerbach). UNLV coach Tony Sanchez is always looking for articles that he can use to talk to his players about what they would do in that situation and how they cope when they get into arguments with their girlfriends (Auerbach). Coach Tony Sanchez thinks that if he brings it up a lot it will help them think about how they would handle it (Auerbach). Sanchez says, “At the end of the day, the only thing people are going to see is the end result. What you did”
