Since 1924, Black Friday has been the iconic weekend after Thanksgiving Day that unofficially took over as the start of holiday shopping. Many deals are made on Black Friday where all retail stores reduce costs up to half off on their products. In recent years, shopping online has became a new popular tradition for many. Each year “Cyber Monday”, as the public refers too, attracts the interest of many newcomers because of its simplicity. Cyber Monday is a shopping holiday similar to Black Friday but the deals are on online instead of physically going to the store. As old as a tradition Black Friday is, it cannot challenge with the competitiveness of online purchasing. “Last year, retail spending fell 11 percent over the four-day Thanksgiving weekend,” reported the National Retail Federation. An increasing number of individuals every year are preferring to remain at home. Data showing that “estimated $805 budget will be for online purchases,” according to the trade group 's annual survey. Given that information, this illustrates that many people are investing ambitiously into their online purchases. Several times people go to the store to found out the product they seek is out of stock. It 's never an issue if a product is out of stock online with the access to several online vendors offering the same products. There is a helpful feature called a “wish list” that saves all items you viewed and enjoyed that is saved for later purchases. Then, when I make the decision to go ahead with a purchase, it only takes a couple of clicks to do so.
