My pro and con paper is going to be on College Education. All the pros and cons of college education, there are quite a few pros and cons of college education. This has been a huge argument that has been going on since the colonists came from England and made the college Harvard University in 1636. One pro to having college education is people who graduate from college make a lot more money than people who don’t, usually people who graduate from college make about 30,000 more dollars than people who just have a High School diploma, or around 50,000 more dollars in their lives normally. In 2012 an associates degree was worth around 170,000 more than someone with just a high school diploma in 2011. In 2012 85% of America's 400 richest people had college education. Students who go to college have a lot more chances to talk with other students, their teachers, student organizations,clubs, and to take part in debates. Students who went to college voted interactive skills was the most important thing they learned to do in college in a 1994 survey. Students who go to college are some of the most ingenious people. The first con for getting a college education is students have to take a lot of student loans out to be able to go to school. In 2003-2012 the amount of debt rose from 25% to 43%, the normal loan balance was $20,326. 10% of students have about 40,000 in debt, that is a lot of debt to just go to college. The US Congress Joint Economic Committee said that 60% of college graduates who have student loans is equal to 60% of their paycheck. If you are late on student loans it results in a really low credit score and some other bills, which makes the whole debt problem in the United States a whole lot
