There are four types of greenhouse gas: water vapor, methane, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide. NASA states, “Certain gases in the atmosphere block heat from escaping. Long-lived gases that remain semi-permanently in the atmosphere and do not respond physically or chemically to changes in temperature are described as "forcing" climate change.” The reasons for seeing climate change is the recent human induced expansion in the green house effect. The long-term effect on earth if we keep increasing greenhouse gas and try not to keep a balance can be catastrophic. For example, to much carbon dioxide on earth will make it extremely hot or if you do not have the right balance of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere it can make it very cold. NASA predicts, the global climate future affects the artic ice, an increase in intense hurricanes, more droughts, and frost-free seasons. Many of these predictions we have already physically seen with the naked eye over the past decades, it is projected to get worse if nothing is …show more content…
According to the Natural Resources Defense Council, “Over the past four decades, wind has provided an increasing amount of the energy we use. Today, wind farms generate about 50,000 megawatts of clean, renewable energy -- the equivalent of the energy produced by 12 Hoover Dams.” This can be better for the environment and reduce fossil fuel energy. Another global warming solution, is driving a smart car they are great on the environment and you can save on gas. The EPA is collecting data from greenhouse gas emissions and finding out where they are coming from to create better ways of diminishing emissions and increasing proficiency. On December 12, 2015, President Obama and world leaders made an agreement to help fight global climate change. The benefits to these new philosophies and partnerships to changing the climate it has made more jobs vice motivating the fight on global warming and making the world
