On the other hand, another career that I would not mind going into is teaching or education. If I do go into the teaching field, I would like to be a kindergarten teacher. For the past few years, I have been helping my kindergarten teacher in and out of her classroom. After spending some time inside the classroom, I have grown to have an interest in working with young children. This has led me to believe that being a kindergarten teacher would be a great fit for me.
The on-the-job tasks of the entry level jobs associated with being a kindergarten teacher are to create effective lesson plans in order to involve the young students. The teacher needs to be able to observe their students’ work both in class and out of class. They need to be able

The initial question that I asked her was, “What are the pros and cons of being a teacher?” She claimed that there were no real pros and cons that she could think of at that particular moment. In the end, she replied with, “ The pros of being a teacher have to be that you feel like you are helping people everyday. With young kindergarteners, it also feels like it is the last chance you have to help their brains develop. The direct cons of being a teacher is that some children might misbehave or have a social disorder. Whereas the indirect cons would have to be problems due to parents having a drug addiction or an emotional withdrawal towards their child.” The second question that I asked her was, “What has been your favorite or most memorable experience while being a teacher?” She answered by saying, “Up until two years ago, I taught a boy named Jojo. He would write some of the most creative journal responses as a child. Some of his responses were so amazing that I believed that he could definately excel at higher grade …show more content…
This also means that kindergarten teachers need more volunteers to help them out especially when they are unable to take care of all of the children at the same time. Not to mention, they might face the problem of having to support children who aren't being taken into kindergarten when they might benefit the most in a kindergarten environment (Morrison). The current successes in the teaching field is that it helps improve a child’s brain and development while they are in their early stages in life. This means that kindergarten teachers are helping young students prepare for events happening later on in the children's’ lives such as in college, their future career, and their lives in general
