Have you ever wondered why some books are banned or challenged? Most books are banned or challenged because of the content within them, some because of the language used others because of inappropriate content. Different places have banned many different books some schools have banned books and even public libraries have banned books, but should these places really be able to choose what we can and cannot read? In my English 1 class we were asked to read a banned book and decide whether we thought that the book we chose should or shouldn’t be banned. The book I chose to read was “Cheerleaders the Third Evil” by R.L. Stine and in my personal opinion I think it should not have been banned.
