Banned books are books that have been banned for certain reasons that may argue against a certain group of people’s beliefs. Books around the world should not be banned because you can learn from what the book tells you. I read My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult, which was a very informative book that gave me a lot of information that I could hold on to. My banned book should not be banned because I learned a lot and it was a great story about a cancer patient and her family. There are multiple reasons a book could be banned.     Fortunately, for every group pushing for bans on literature, there are organizations that fight for this freedom. One such organization is the American Civil Liberties Union.
