Pollution accumulated from animal agriculture has created ocean dead zones leading to an overall species extinction. Scientist currently estimate that there would be fish less oceans by 2048 due to the over fishing from major animal agriculture industries. For instance, 2.7 trillion aquatic animals are being pulled from the ocean each year for human consumption. Moreover, fishing vessels are killing as much as 650,000 whales, dolphins, and seals every year. Animal agriculture is also creating new industries such as the palm oil industry which has currently have been killing more animals that reside in the rain forest.
