In order to better prepare myself if there is an active shooter on campus is to start scanning the room or buildings I go to on a daily basis to get an idea of the best escape routes and hiding places in that building. In order to communicate safety to residents to prepare them if an active shooter is on campus or in the building is to have an informational event that goes over the Run Hide Fight method and other ways they can prepare. Also, having posters with reminders around the hall on how to prepare inside and outside the building would be helpful. To remain safe during an active shooter incident, I would have to stay calm and collective in order to find the nearest exit or hiding spot. If it is absolutely impossible for me to get out
