“The decision to continue your pregnancy or end it is very personal” (blueshieldca.com). In the United States, abortion is a controversial topic. Some people are pro abortion because some say it is a fundamental right for a women to get an abortion and also it is their choice to have a child or not whenever she would like. While others are against abortion they say that abortion is murder. It is also said that fetuses might be able to feel pain while in the womb. There is more than one method to get an abortion and they are classified as surgical, medical, and chemical. Under a surgical abortion the person can get a suction aspiration where the abortionist inserts a suction tube. The suction tube dismembers the baby and its body parts get sucked into a collection bottle. During a dilation and curettage, a looped shaped knife is used to cut the baby up and scrape the remaining body parts of the womb. Specific drugs are used during a medical …show more content…
