The Pros And Cons Of A Zombie Apocalypse

There are a lot of zombie eating movies out there. Nothing but flesh eating and blood sucking zombies. But have you ever wondered what it will be like being in an actual apocalypse. I am a die hard fan of the television series on AMC called “The Walking Dead”. This show does not clearly focus on the blood and flesh eating zombies, but about survival, finding new territories, and also conflicts. But the pros to surviving a zombie apocalypse is determined by the tools you have and also the people behind you. The main four people to a less dangerous apocalypse would be to have a leader, doctor, hunter, and a chef.
The leader, of course, is like the oxygen of our body. The leaders are the one to make the important decisions about the group. They have to make sure they keep everybody safe and to also be ready to spring into action in case the unexpected arise. The leader is the meats of the foods, so therefore they are the most important. Meanwhile, the leader should be ready to put forth their life for the safety of their group. A leader makes sure his or her members, including children, are safe. Leaders have to make life changing decisions that benefit both them and the people around them.

During the apocalypse, there are going to be non life threatening injuries. Even if a person has been bitten, they may need an amputation to avoid the infection from spreading to major organs to avoid transformation. With a certified doctor on board, anyone that encounters a non life threatening injury could be treated easily instead of losing their life because of non experienced people. Anything such as minor colds to a open wound could be treated because I would have a certified doctor on my team. The more people we have, the more we have to fight with. Also, to avoid funerals. Even though there are injuries that’s not treatable, some can be treated with just a snitch by a professional

What I’m about to tell you is very important. Make a plan on how you would survive a zombie outbreak. Here is a list of things that you will need: 1 gallon of water per person per day, stock up on nonperishable food, medications, tools and supplies (examples duct tape, utility knife, battery powered radio, flashlights, candles, lighter/lighter fluid, matches, and most importantly plenty of weapons). If possible make sure you have sanitary items, plenty of blankets, and clothing, the last thing that you should have ready is a first aid kit. You also want to make an escape plan or an emergency plan.…

A zombie apocalypse suggests the end of humanity by humanity. Essentially zombies wound turn healthy people into zombies by eating their brains which would lead to a large population decrease. While this is far from reality we are still hardly equipped for this epidemic. Ali Kahn’s “Preparedness 101” and the “How to Survive Zombies” poster demonstrate this. As living human beings we are not prepared for a zombie apocalypse because all we know about zombies is what we learn from entertainment which is probably wrong, human beings are selfish and would not care for other lives, and finally all of the essentials would run out in a very short amount of time.…

Marksmanship with the Crossbow is the outmost importance due to the zombie’s nature. The only way to completely kill a zombie is dismembering the brain, by either completely destroying it or severing the connection to the spine. Referencing the more famous TV show in America right now which has zombies in it, Daryl Dixon, a character who strictly uses the Crossbow in The Walking Dead, he personally uses the crossbow at his own discretion. It’s his main squeeze and babies it rightly so, because he uses it for both long and close range kills. Perfect for the zombie apocalypse, because honestly did you really train before this?…

If everyone was to join the walking dead except me then I would find a place for shelter that was sturdy, underground, and has its own near by stream such as a cave in a mountain or forest. An absolute essential thing to have would be a stockpile of nonperishable foods and a clean water source. I would have to make sure to have weapons such as rifles, crossbows, hand axes, knives, and crowbars, to take with me in case I would need to defend myself along with setting up traps that would keep the zombies at bay. I would need a paper map and compass along with knowing how to read them, pre-GPS navigational skills is one of the most valuable in a post apocalyptic time. Practically being paralyzed in places like Las Vegas, New York, and even parts of Los Angeles. As fans, we rarely get to witness characters escape to the countryside away from the attacks. With that being said, a useful tactic that will insure your safety should a zombie apocalypse ever happen would be escaping the wilderness. Although it gets cold in the backwoods, especially during the winter season, you can still survive using river moss for example, as a way to keep warm at night and by building a hut using bush craft to shelter you from blizzards. In all honestly, it would be really surprising to spot a zombie survive the treacherous winter months without protection walking through snow, mud, and water for miles on…
